Odor Solution without the Pollution
Don’t mask odors, remove them.
What is TurfAid?
TurfAid was developed to attend to the unique needs of larger businesses and facilities with kids at play, such as schools, sports centers, and daycares. Both kids and animals tend to leave a good deal of debris behind after using turf, and it can be too time-consuming to perform detailed inspections and maintenance when team members have other responsibilities they must focus on. TurfAid is the safest cleaning solution for high-foot traffic areas.
Much like our TurfClean service, TurfAid includes a comprehensive maintenance process that targets bad odors, stains, and matted areas. However, TurfAid also includes a couple of extra steps to prevent harmful debris from ruining your time on the turf. We’ll check your turf for metallic pieces, removing them quickly and efficiently with a magnet sweep to ensure maximum safety during our cleaning process. After we’re done, we’ll apply our proprietary TurfAid turf disinfectant, so kids and pets are free to enjoy the turf and play to their heart’s desires!
What’s included in a TurfAid service:
Turf Reblooming
Your cleaning starts with debris removal and turf reblooming. In this process, it will improve the drainage of your turf and remove pet hair and ground-in waste that helps flush the turf of contaminants. We then do a thorough magnet sweep to remove any potentially hazardous metal that may have ended up in the turf.
Detailed Inspection
Our technicians do a thorough inspection of the condition of the turf. They will tuck edges that may have lifted, or do minor adjustments to the turf to restore its condition. We also remove any weeds that occur due to normal erosion and sediment.
TurFill Application
We’ll apply our TurFill product as necessary, which acts as a filter for the ammonia smell in pet urine, preventing any new odors from occurring.
Apply TurFresh
Finally, we’ll apply our TurFresh BioS+ bacteria fighting cleaner and deodorizer, leaving your turf smelling fresh. We use enough product to ensure that we penetrate all the way to the base layer of your turf system.
TurfAid blends safety and turf cleaning into one service
Your turf sees plenty of action throughout the day, and it is important to ensure that everyone who uses your turf isn’t exposed to harmful materials and chemicals. Our turf cleaning process includes organic cleaning solutions backed by enzymatic formulas that break down stains and bacteria to reveal fresh, like-new turf. Our TurfAid service also includes an application of our proprietary TurfAid turf disinfectant, preventing new odors from arising and persisting, along with a magnet sweep to fully remove any hazardous metals from your synthetic grass.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are TurfAid and TurfClean the same?
Although similar, TurfAid is the best option for areas like daycares, schools, and sports facilities, where foot traffic is plentiful and lots of debris tends to be left behind day after day. Whereas TurfClean only entails our trusted 10-point process, TurfAid includes a magnet sweep and an application of our renowned TurfAid formula, providing safe, fresh results you can depend on.
Is TurfAid safe for young kids too?
Yes, TurfAid is totally safe for children of all ages. Since we only use all-natural products, there are no harmful chemicals leftover that kids must avoid.
Do I have to wait a while before using my turf again after TurfAid?
With TurfAid, you never have to disappoint your students or pets by keeping them off the turf for the entire day. Once we’ve finished our services, you are free to use your turf as soon as you’d like!
How often do I need a TurfAid service?
The frequency of TurfAid services all depends on the size of your school or daycare and how often your turf is used throughout the day. For larger facilities, we recommend monthly TurfAid sessions to keep your turf looking great and to prevent premature replacements due to untreated damage.
