There’s another interesting process occurring with pet urine. As urine changes over time, ammonia and its positively charged form, ammonium, can exist within the turf environment. TurFill’s internal structure can interact with certain positively charged ions through a process called ion exchange, helping retain ammonium within the material.
That’s very different from spraying a deodorizer on top of the grass. TurFill works inside the turf, between professional cleanings.
