What We Do on a TurFore Plan Visit
Greens are not lawns, so they get their own visit. Every stop runs the same six-step putting green routine, in order.
Light Blooming
A light blooming pass manages the sand levels in the putting surface itself, keeping the dressing even without fluffing the pile or changing your roll.
Fringe Blooming
The fringe gets a full blooming pass so the collar stands tall and frames the green the way it did on install day.
Cleaning Rinse
The surface is rinsed with a dedicated putting green cleaner and worked with a brush, lifting organic film without disturbing the dressing below.
Silica Sand Top-Up
Where the dressing has thinned, we add silica sand and level it in, which is what keeps ball speed consistent season to season.
Final Rinse
A clean-water rinse settles the dressing and carries off anything the brush lifted, leaving a tournament-ready surface.
Clean Cup
Every visit ends with the cup cleaned out, because nothing ruins a good read like a dirty hole.

1Will maintenance change my green’s speed?
No. Protecting roll speed is the whole discipline: light blooming that manages sand levels rather than fluffing the pile, gentle brush work, and silica sand added only where the dressing has thinned. The green putts true after every visit.
2How is the price calculated?
Pricing is based on the size of your green, measured on the first visit, and your cadence. Plans start at $400 per visit for up to 400 square feet of green; a 600 square foot green is about $581 per visit on the Quarterly plan and about $712 on the Annual plan.
3How often should a backyard green be serviced?
Quarterly for greens under trees or in daily play, tri-annual or bi-annual for typical backyard greens, annual for light use. We recommend honestly after seeing yours.
4Is silica sand included?
Yes. When the dressing needs a top-up, adding and leveling silica sand is part of the visit, not an upsell.
5Can the plan cover the lawn around the green too?
Yes. Many members pair a TurFore Plan with a TurfClean Plan for the surrounding turf, and the visits are combined on the same stop.
